So the results are in and here are our winners:

Well done to all that entered the contest, this was by far one of the best contests we have ever held with some simply superd entries.

Holy Smokes, that was close! And unexpected too, i'm pleasantly shocked I thought for sure 74louloute's Beds are burning and Cuahchic's Hotel California were going to duke it out for the first spot.

The beds are burning vig has a great base, really unusual and eye-catching shape, and the bed/covers and figs are a delight - i've never seen the flesh face with the closed eyes before, Harry Potter?

Cuahchic's Hotel California just made me think of the narrow town houses in Amsterdam, full of lovely detail and the fact it takes full advantage of the lack of height restrictions AND it's double sided make it superb in my eyes.

Congratulations to both of you, and well done to everybody who entered, there were some great entries that caught my eye - JimButcher's Black Hole Sun (A favourite song from that period of time), Brickmaethor's Chuck Norris Vig (Had never heard the tune before, but it's Chuck Norris giving Indy a crotch-kick - what's not to love?) and xzanfr's Warpigs (I've already told you you're a genius elsewhere) amongst others.

Thanks once again to the staff for their time and generosity in running the contest and supplying the prizes and helping us all think outside the box with our building. On a side note, my vig got blogged on vignette bricks http://vignettebricks.blogspot.com/ before I had even got the description on, so I went back on and set him straight about BH and the contest

Well done to everyone involved. I just looked through the contest entries and they were of really high standard. I actually couldnt think of anything by any of the songs I like. When I could think of a song I got bombed down with my other projects and my time was so stretched.
I didnt want to enter the comp with a sub standard effort and felt it best i sit it out if i couldnt think of anything decent to contribute.

I'm glad there were such high standards and entries though, and i remember seeing delatrons entry on flickr and really liked the skeleton figures (probably going to get a couple myself now)

I for one enjoyed this contest a lot. This site has some great contest ideas that you don't see anywhere else, which is awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing more ingenious competitions like this in the future!
