Argos UK ebay page has a few nice deals at the moment. The most noteable being the AC Earth Defence HQ for £43.99 + £2.99 delivery.

Sainsburys is having there up to 50% toy sale starting today!! Unfortunately most of you UK fans know this used be 50% off toy sale not up to 50%.

The Lego this time round is all a 1/3 off. Still this is the magic 33% off for me so even after this being on all day my local store had plent of stuff left tonight.

So what did I get? What's that Most of you are shouting, Star Wars. Nope, 4 LotR sets! 2 Uruk Hai Army sets 1 Ork Forge and 1 Shelob Attacks.

Scary times my friends! Scary times...... :D

Great find for you Mutley, my Sainsburys didn't have any LOTR, SW, Monster Fighters or Series 8 figs in stock so it's a pointless sale for me.

Oh and i started the day by missing out on the Sun promotion....no Thor for me, but i have him already so i'm not too fussed.

I did manage to get my hands on the Series 8 Alien and Manbat figs, so i'm pretty happy.

That's a shame mate. Maybe this will help out as Tesco are running 3 for 2 deal on toys and alot of lego sets have discounts already which can add up to some great savings! :geek:

I ordered The Malevolence, Sith Fury and the LotR Moria set which were all reduced by £10 each and ended up paying £160 for the lot!! :geek: This was equal to a 36% saving on RRP on each set!!! :geek:

I was in store this afternoon and they had more deals there for the sellers. This years X-wing set was reduced to £37.49. Buy 3 and you are getting nearly a 50% discount on the each set!!

I suppose It is the love of the LotR Films that has helped draw me in :geek: . I did buy 4 or 5 of the Toy Story line but my interest just bombed on that one after that.

From Huw at Brickset:

Amazon.co.uk has reduced the price of all LotR sets by 25%, and also has four of The Hobbit sets available for pre-order at a 25% discount. That makes An Unexpected Gathering much more palatable at £45 instead of £60. There's no expected delivery date given but I suspect it will be around 1st December.

Sainsburys are doing 50% off some sets ... I picked up 9470 Shelob Attacks and 9497 Republic Striker-class Starfighter both at this price. 2 of each ... £120 of Lego for £60. Bargain.

Argos UK have the Super Heroes Quinjet Aerial Battle - 6869 reduced to £39.99 With this you can get a £5 voucher back too (but you might have to ask for it), this makes the set half price. :geek:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9064786.htm

I already had a £5 voucher so I only had to hand over £35 for this set and got my voucher back basically. Must be bought in store, so reserve and collect. I do like this set so I don't know if I will sell it or leave it to be opened on day! :D
