Looks like they have him in his current costume, that's great to see as the costume is good. I was worried we might get the original with the sweat bands around his wrists.

Stick around after Iron Man 2- you'll see a sneak peak for it! It's not much- only a crater and his hammer.
I'm not terribly familiar with Thor. I wonder how he'll do after the big guys like Iron Man, Batman, The Hulk, and so on have already had their slot.

Mate you should have put a spoiler on the first line, some members might not have seen IM2 yet. I thought the last scene was good but lacked the impact of the final scene in Iron Man and The Incredable Hulk.

Thor is as big, if not bigger than Iron Man and the Hulk. Thor has been a major icon for a very long time in the comic universe and was an original Avenger like Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America. The problem with putting out a Thor movie is that the character works best in either another realm or in the past, having him walk around in 2010 isn't gonna look good unless the writters really find a good take on it.

The same can be said for Cap America, he too works best set in the past.

I can't agree with that more. They're lucky with Thor in a way, he's a god and doesn't really have an 'origin' story so I'd be fine if they took some liberties. He's definately no second rate hero like say....Daredevil, Ghostrider or *ahem* Captain America. Besides, Thor is cool and I can't wait to see some Mjolinr smiting!

Cap'n belongs in WWII, they have made some cheesy movies that bring him to the present and they suck. That could be that I don't like Captain Propaganda though.
