Bad news for TT: Despite persistent rumors to the contrary, Simon Pegg today confirmed to The Telegraph that the villian of the still-untitled Star Trek sequel will not be Khan Noonien Singh.

“It’s not Khan,” said the actor, who plays Chief Engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott. “That’s a myth. Everyone’s saying it is, but it’s not.”

I would have loved to have seen Khan in the next movie, though JJ Adams does have a history of trying to deceive fans and he also has gotten actors to tell a few misleading remarks to hide characters and plots. So you never know Khan might still be the big bad in this movie.

Shooting of the new Robocop remake is underway, below are two shots of the new sleeker Robocop. Many are unhappy about this reboot/remake, though i believe it's a good thing. Plus with actors like Gary Oldman and Samuel Jackson in it i have high hopes, though the new suit will take a little getting used to :D

Will Ms Marvel join the ast of the Avengers 2 ?

Image

The UK's Daily Mail has hidden a little nugget of information in one of their latest stories...

"British actresses Emily Blunt and Ruth Wilson are head-to-head in a race for the most sought-after new female role in Hollywood. Emily, star of The Young Victoria, and Ruth, from TV’s Luther, are both hotly tipped to play superhero Ms Marvel in Avengers 2, the sequel to Avengers Assemble."

Now, treat this strictly as a rumor because nothing has been confirmed by Marvel Studios and this is the very first time anyone has even mentioned Ms. Marvel for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but if she is going to be in the film, these two are good choices for the role.

an be a gret minifig :geek:

New info on the Thor sequel:

THOR: THE DARK WORLD

Walt Disney Pictures has released a fact sheet for Thor: The Dark World, the sequel due in theaters on Nov. 8.

Here's how the movie is described:

Marvel's Thor: The Dark World continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel's Thor and Marvel's The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all."

Hmmm a shadow enemy? I wonder if its Thanos, we see him at the end of the Avengers so it would make sense that he's pulling the strings behind Malekith and his army.

Out of all the upcoming marvel movies this is the one i worry about the most, Antman is a pretty useless character IMO. I just cannot see how this character will translate to the big screen, therefore whoever writes this movie better have a fantastic idea/script.

OK I'm pissed to read that Jamie Foxx will more than probably play Electro in Spidey2 :x Great to have Electro but come on, not Jamie Foxx !!

He tweeted the following: "Dressed up as Electro for Halloween last night. Costume fits well."
