I was merely saying I wouldn't pay a little extra for something I could find a use to ;) A small Tie to tie in the small Tie X-1 would rock. Add a pilot, a stormie and 2 DS troopers and voilà some Imperial set that is perfect ;)
But yeay I agree on the BPs beeing too expensive, I wish they could just dump the crappy vehicle and give us only the figs like they are doing with Castle ;)

Benny wrote:Instead of vehicles I'd rather have TLC to add some kind of scene for the background, like in the old Naboo Swamp or Speeder Bike sets.

Oh I'm totally with tou there mate !! I am fed up of crappy vehicles. On the other hand a nice scenery would rock big time. Those Felucia big flowers would be so sweet, and I like BURPs and LURPs and foliage. That can be something different !!
But its not gonna happen due to TLC's crappy theaory that each set needs a vehicle for playability :roll:

I love the Tie's but i just have enough now, if they do another though i do hope it's from the FU and comes with something new.

Hmmm... Then it's Treason... Then! :twisted: :lol: Vader, come on, you can never have enought TIE's ;) But I am seriously dismayed. No TIE Defender... What the frack is wrong with Lego... I want my Defender armada, and not excusses. But the Bomber almost make up for this. Also, if that is the Shuttle coming out, I will really go ape pooh, as that is so totally sweet. Clone Wars is to quickly earning most of my love for Star Wars...

Well, there's hope.

Coupled with the previous TIE Defender from the Action Fleet, seems it's only amatter of time before we get a LEGO one ;)

If ever they do I'll be in heaven and hell !! Heaven because with the classic and Interceptor, the Defender is a thing of beauty, I just love it. But hell because it will hacve so much blue to get rid off (especially for 3 !!)

Ahh but that's your own fault for removing all the blue :D , I must admit the thoughts of having a Tie Defender really excites me.

It's such a fantastic looking ship, and would look so cool along side all my other tie's.

Yeah, I can only second that. The Defender is such a great looking ship and a deadly one too, I'm sure TLC is able to do a pretty good version of the ship and it would look awesome with any collection.

If TLC does do more EU stuff, I'd like to see an AT-PT as well as a TIE Defender. I love those mini-walkers (they're my favourite GCW-EU vehicle). :D

Man, I might have to snag that little metal masterpiece... TIE Defender IS so on... One thought. The rumor was a Defender this year. The current rumor list for the January release displays not the name "Defender"... We are looking at possible redesigns of the Bomber and standard Fighter. So, could we still score a Defender this year, by way of limited Addition? Could we possibly see a TRU "Imperial Hangar" complete with Defender. Not say this would be a truly good thing... My wallet is getting stretched to thin of late... And dido on the Walker... Heck, maybe Star Wars should just do the live action series about the Imperial Navy. Who likes a whinny little farm boy anyway? :lol:

The Defender would have to have a large piece count. Which inturn leads to higher prices. The higher piece counts are released in the summer time. Look at this year, In Jan we saw 2-$10, 2-$20, 1-$40, and 1-$50. And now we are seeing the lowest at $45 up to $120 (excluding the DS)

So July '09 Tie Defender? There was a rumor of one this year so it could be feasable next year.

My thoughts (although a little late :mrgreen: )

SW sets:
Clone Trooper Battle Pack-
This sounds really nice! It allows for you to get those new clones at a cheap price! I hope they include a new color commander in green or yellow

Droid Battle Pack-
This one sounds ok, since we had one in 2007 but an new one was needed for new arms and blasters on the droids! Plus everyone loves BPs. :mrgreen:

TIE Fighter-
Wow another one? Its ok with me, lets hope they do it in grey and not blue :P

TIE Bomber-
Meh I would have preferred the Defender over a bomber.....

Separatist AAT-
I really anticipate this one, since everyone has been hoping for a new one ever since we got Ep 1 sets back in 07. The sand blue one would be awesome! I just love that color!

Attack Shuttle-
If this is what Yoda posted, then its awesome! I love the color scheme and a chance for more clones!

Indy Sets:
Shang Hi Chase (from The Temple of Doom opening)-
I thought they weren't doing TOD sets :roll:

Fight on the Flying Wing (from Raiders of the Lost Ark)-
This one is my favorite, I hope it can live up to my expectations

Yeay that shuttle really looks amazing and I wouldn't mind it coming with a new Yoda fig (new torso &/or new CW face ;) ).

I was thinking about those BPs and here is what I would love to see

In the Clonie BP:
* 2 regular white
* 1 501st blue marking
* 1 pilot (we need more pilots really)

In the Droid BP:
* 2 Magna guard (I would love several of them really)
* 2 security BDs (dark red torso)
* 4 regular BDs

I like that make up of the clonie BP. I would love it if somehow they could integrate the buildable feature into either the RGS or the AT-TE.

About the Droid BP, I wonder about including the Magna guard. I was under the impression that they were about as common as Jedi. I have a feeling that we will see a Droidka and some BDs, having some red ones would be fantastic.

So, which pilots are you referring to? The Phase I pilots like the one in the V-19 (which I could use six of) or the Phase II pilots like in the V-Wing and the ARC-170? Because I'm assuming you're thinking of the 501st in Phase II Clonetrooper armor, and I'm guessing LEGO wouldn't mix different types of clone armor like that.

Well during the CW vol2 you see a lot of magna guards so that would be cool to have an army of those babies ;)

Yeay Deino, I was referring to the V-19 pilot ;) I need more of him as well.
And I was referring to Phase I 501st like in the new CW footage: Captain Rex his flying with 501st,and thats the one I want ;)

Also another thing just striked mùe thinking of the Kama: Phase II Galactic Marines :o Easy to do, especially now with the kama ;)
