Why can't people keep LEGO affordable for everyone?

Well it is that old issue of supply and demand. Lego no longer sell the set so now it all down to the re-sale and second hand market. The problem there is that most people who originaly bought this set don't want to sell it and alot of the resale sets have now been snapped up. This means when one does do on sale it is rare and now will attract a lot of interest. I would say someone willing to pay £3000 for a used £350 lego set is obviously a big fan! This is the way of the world so you just have to get used to it I am affraid, or you could even try to profit from it.
