News from SDCC regarding future Marvel Studios movies:
Iron Man 3 - 2013
Thor: The Dark World - 2013
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 2014
Guardians of the Galaxy - 2014
Ant-Man - TBA

If Lego has the licences for all these movies we will be blessed with amazing figs :geek:

Only problem with that mate is that the tumbler seen in TDKR is not the same as the one Bats has, they are modified versions with extras attached and are cameo colour.

Well the title of The Winter Soldier is a massive spoiler, anyone who knows anything about Cap will now know just who this movie is about.

No idea about the Thor title though, would be cool if the Red Skull showed up as he seemed to take a ride is Asgard at the end of the Cap movie.

Those new figs are great, I love TDK Commissioner Gordon and the prison Joker, I'm hoping for great things from these sets!

OK its official (even if we knew it thanks to the mfs shown at SDCC): we will have one set based on TDKR :) FBTB received a press release that states "The much-anticipated film is also being supported by the official partner in the construction category, LEGO, with a construction set inspired by The Dark Knight Rises"

So now lets the speculations begin: I'm sure we'll have a Bat pursuing the camo Tumbler :geek:

Well such a set would be great, but it would be big. I wonder if we will get a camo Tumbler and the Batpod instead, i hope not as i want The Bat.

OK mate what is the winter soldier ?

I just read about the really probable villain in Thor 2: dark elves :geek: James Grogan let this little bit slip out: The other day for example, this is quite random but I was working on Thor 2,” he explains, “I had a load of stunt guys in and the director came in and he said ‘Look, we want you all to be elves,’ and I was like ‘What the hell is an elf anyway?’ and he said ‘I want you all to walk around like these supernatural animals,’ honestly it was the most ridiculous thing ever but you just have to not be self aware and get on with it.”

That will be awsome figs :geek:

The Winter Soldier is who Bucky Barnes becomes in the comics, so i'm guessing that Bucky survived his fall from the train in the first Cap movie.

Yeay the Bat loks mean, I love it. The thing is that I think downscaling like what Lego did with the Batplane and Batmobile: we could easilly have the Bat + Tum in a rather bigger set than the Batmobile set.Probable and doable. I'm thinking Arkham will be the biggest set followed by that Bat + Tum. Hope I'm right there ;)

I wonder if the white Batman will be in the set with Mr Freeze. Need pics asap :D

Sounds about right. I think the BAT/Tumbler might take the $70 price point of this years Batcave andQuinjet. And Arkham would be even bigger $120 and maybe LEGO exclusive? I'm thinking Aquaman will have to share Batmans villains. That's kInd of how the video game is, unless you have the special character packages. Last year we had Lex, but Black Manta is no Lez.

Since Lego in venturing into modulars in specific themes (Monster Fighters) I wonder if Lego would push it for licences with a modular Arkham
