Dang! I would love that one too, but I'm not in the US :( And I'm not going to spend so much money on LEGO's.
It's a sweet looking fig, that's for sure.

I wonder if you will get one with the changed cowl, seems some of these sets have a different version than the normal one. Of course this has led to many believing that it's a new cowl for a TDKR future set, i'll believe it when i see it but here's hoping.

I'll keep an eye out. I've had terrible luck finding any polybags. I was at TRU Friday. But I'll go back as I want them too :geek:

Yeay I just noticed the change cowl. Weir that its only ith this set and not with the other Batman sets  I gues this means new bat sets for later on ;) What is the point on making a new mold for solely a promo set ?

According to what i have read Lego didn't make the cowl for this set, some have just been released by mistake. This set is supposed to have the original cowl.

No, the cowl is the helmet/headpiece.

Regarding the cowl, I found this thread on brickset forums

http://www.bricksetforum.com/discussion ... ment_66702

In short, it looks like they are using this new cowl in current production sets. Someone reported getting one in his Funhouse set. That one would be blue, so I don't think this necessarily means that this new piece was created for TDKR sets.

Also, people commented that the white band on the figures' heads don't line up completely with the eyeholes in the new cowl. :(

My (based on nothing but pure speculation) is that all of the 2012 sets were supposed to have the new mold, but it wasn't ready for prime time in the first production run, so they had to use the old 2006-08 one.
