Postby Brickwild » Sat Apr 23, 2011 1:06 pm

A Flickr user, called Caleb Randolph disovered a simple, ingenuious solution for cleaning 9v train tracks:
Using toothpaste!

Not only does it clean and polish the rails to "NEW" condition but it also leaves track smelling clean and fresh!
Anyone tried this yet?

Ah, tried this soon after reading it and it didn't work, but that is probably my fault, as I didn't try very hard with the scrubbing. And also I used 10 year old toothpaste... ;)

You can use methylated spirits too! They're a good metal cleaner!
