Picture Review: 6190 Shark's Crystal Cave (1996)

Postby Brickwild » Tue Dec 06, 2011 7:37 am

It's time to show one of my 'old skool' sets that's sitting on my bedroom shelf, collecting dust.
This one is 6190 Shark's Crystal Cave/Aquashark Sea Wolf or 'Aquashark Base' as the Aussies & Kiwis call it. It's from the year 1996. There are some parts substituted and the arm components have become brittle with age.

Come on! Those hinges are not weak in fact they are pretty strong imo. :D

Very nice set, I had a few of those but they are impossible to complete now. :(

Thanks for the great review Brickwild! :)

A pretty cool set from a dark time in my lego life. :D

The set has a good design base and some great parts in cool colours.

On a side note I hate dust! :D Lego and dust are mortal enemies. :D

Indeed. Wall mounted cabinets are much better than open shelves.
