Yes, the ships are very nice. They're slightly cheesy, but in a good and slightly nostalgic way, with how the bad guy tries to get away in a space hot rod and the space police ship looks like a... space police ship. The alien looks awesome.

BTW; It was Mania3 at Eurobricks who first snapped these pictures. He found, by accident, a display/poster/something that was being prepared, and snapped a few pictures with his phone.

Nice find Shadow, now these look very interesting to me. It seems to me that the space line will now have ships that are very much like cars, of course without the wheels :D

It will be interesting to see what else the line has.

Looks promising as a new line, although it does look to have a bit of a retro look about it. i guess we will have to wait until some more pics surface. On the down side as it is space police does this mean we can now expect an endless line of more police stations cos we all know how much TLG likes to make them. Maybe we will get something like 7744 but with a set of them big plane wings strapped on

This looks a very interesting line, something to watch carefully! The ships look nice if a little oversized looking is that a new piece for the bonet of the black car? I like the fig also I suppose that helmet could be used for other mocs however I can't think of anything useful at the moment xD

Very nice find anyway guys!

Is it just me, or is that the TIE pilot torso?

It is the Tie pilot torso TK, don't think TLC could be bothered making a new one, goes well though I think :)

Yeah it is strange that they would use that torso again, if this was a prelim pic i wouls think that it would be changed. But as it's on a banner i have a hard job thinking it will be changed, still it's a good torso to use.

Humm what to say, I'm not even sure

First things first:
* I hope the torso is preliminary because I doubt a licensed element will be included in a non license line ;) Remember the nazi prelim pic ? It had the Nabbo pilot torso ;) Also I doubt Lego would use a non printed head under that mask.
* I love how Lego totally ripped off the Star Justice logo for the line :D I bet that someone is rather happy
* I love how they ripped off the Space Skulls logo as well hehe (check the roof of the black speeder :geek: )
* That police ship seems to look a lot like the Star Justice one :D

Now what ? That theme seem like a mix between "pimp my ride", "cops" (I really can't hear the "Space Police is filmed on location...") and other shows where teens are busted  Oh the originality !! (and originality in ripping off logos as well :D )

Having said that I really love the helmet of that bad guy :geek:
The design of the speeders/ships (whatever they are suppose to be) is pretty sleek and cool. I'm happy that the police one doesn't have stupid launchers crap on it unlike the bad guy's one who has freaking 2 of those :x I sense small kids shooting themselves again :D

I love how the bad guys drops its illegal cargo "even I get bored at some times" :D :geek:

Okie I want to see more of that line now !!

Sne, any comments ?? :D Or you're still celebrating Tintin's 80 bday :geek:

I guess the baddies are the best with different new molds and SW-looking aliens.

hmmmmmm.... Lego goes "Bladerunner", if you're asking me... unless the other sets are true space sets, i'd say this is a mixture of "racers" and a city - police theme in a future Lego city... hmmmm...

i also see a light and sound system on the police ship... hmmmm... the white ship, from what i can see, looks ... nice ... but i'll wait untill i get some better photos... unfortunately, it is yet again "white" that dominates the space theme...

it also reminds me of "time cruisers". it looks like we'll be stuck with sets that basically get their parts from other themes... if you look at the black space car, there's hardly no space part in it... so i'll just wait for some other photos before i really start trashing the theme... :D

and ah yes, my guess is that the alien does not have a face, it's just an organge round brick...

I wonder how the police MFs will look like and if they will have new blasters. I hope TLC won't go sissy on us like they did with the agent sets not giving us that golden uzi :x

Looking at these pics again, I really like the golden heist bank floating in space :geek: Also the rear cell of that police interceptor is really cool !! Looks like a new dome or something ;) They should do a small set like that: cell + alien, now that would be freaking awsome for space MOCs and Moon Bases :geek:

Where do you see that buddy ? I think its just the light effects on the pic ;)

snefroe wrote:unfortunately, it is yet again "white" that dominates the space theme...

Yeay, since when SPI and SPII had white police ships ?? Is it to put it in todays futuristic world ? I'm getting a tad annoyed at TLC making weird choices for their lines (I mean look MM and PM  ).

snefroe wrote:and ah yes, my guess is that the alien does not have a face, it's just an organge round brick...

That would be strange indeed  Even Lord Vader has a head under the helmet :D :P I would find it cheap if we didn't have a proper printed alien head. Man TLC is really bad at designing aliens :x

Well I think those cars look pretty nice for themselves. But as a space-theme?
Meh I sure am no space fan, but that's not what I remember of Lego space sets.

And I believe there's a lot of stuff to be changed that is in that picture, like the police body, aliens and so on...
