Well he has been captured by the orcs though, so he may not be a very good combattant :geek: He sure has a pimped armor but thats basically all :D

natelite wrote:you mean the queen didn't cuckooed the king with the jester? :P :D

Have you seen that idiot really ? Poor Queen :D

natelite wrote:on a serious note though, how did you (and yoda) know the king was supposed to be in that set? i'm kinda puzzled.

I didn't but I think it makes sense for 2 reasons: 1) the king is present in the 2 other sets unfortunatly (yeay I don't kneed a king army !) and 2) I don't think that the king would tolerate that one of his knight wears the crown color, especially a golden armor ;) I might be wrong and he can be a progressist king but how can a subject (as noble as one can be) be more golden than the king ? It doesn't make any sense in my book but who knows with TLC :D

Hey i never said he was a good fighter, i guess he was hoping his pimped armor would destract the orcs. :D

Still he will be a good new fig to add to the army, i wish we had clearer shots of the figure though. I'm hoping for some sweet new printing on the front of the armor, if the trolls can have it on their heads then why not the king.

Indeed mate i hope so too, but even if they don't these pics will keep us chatting for awhile. :D

So is the orc with the cape at the front of the fortress supposed to be the new orc king? If so it seems his crown is missing, i really hope that he gets a new crown instead of the one on the box in the prelim box behind.

Perhaps they didn't allow cameras inside, some fairs are like that. It could be that this one person managed to get the pics whilst lego were not looking, i know that's most likely not to be the case but who knows.

I really don't like the drawbridge set, it just seems so KK to me. I was never a fan of that version so this version dosen't do anything for me at all, the only saving grace for me in this set is the figs.

Double post and bump on! :D

Has anyone else seen this pic? I can't remember ever seeing a shot of the queens back, it's always great to see printing on the back of a fig.

Ah nice pic mate !!

I'm still pissed at the fact that the sweet hairpiece has a freaking hole in it, its really useless without the horrible crown :x Major fail here for me !!

The printings are really great though ;)

Well i wouldn't say the hairpiece is useless without the crown, it's only a very small hole and i can live with it. Hey if you wanted to use the hairpiece and the hole did bother you, then why not stick a plume into it...problem solved :D

agree. it's such a small hole. you can easily cover it up with putty. :D

i just wish they use diff colors for these hairpieces. we already have brown from leia mf. how about yellow, tan, bley, black, red, etc instead? nooooo....they have to give us brown.

Chewk posted on his FlickR a sweet pic of the troll fortress :geek:

So the orc king (I will never call them trolls :geek: ) has a copper crown it seems ;) Looks way better than the pearl gold for him.

I love how the king frees himself :geek: Man those orcs are morons hehe
