Magnet Set CW Yoda, Mace and Dooku Review

Postby Vader on Tue Feb 10, 2009 6:35 pm

So i got the new SW magnet set today, their is not a whole lot to review as we have seen these figs before. As this is the case i'll let the pictures do most of the talking, first up we have a pic of the packaging.

Here you have a front and back shot of the fig and magnet, i like how lego have used the 1x1 bricks to make yoda look bigger...oh and it also keeps the little fella from running away :D

Count Dooku:

Here we have a simple pic of Yodas magnet with the bricks removed:

So that's your lot i'm afraid, like i said not a lot to review. But still this is a great set and a fantastic way to get cheap figs, the figs themselves are the same as the ones in the other CW sets.

All body parts can be removed thankfully, great news for those of us who want a spare Dooku hairpiece ;)

Sweet mate, tks for the review :geek:

You know what ? I never noticed that Dooku's hilt was chrome and not metallic silver :) :geek: Thats really cool IMO

Like I said before, that set is just brilliant !! Great to have cheap important figs and great way for customizers to get spare parts like hairstyle, torsos and what have you ;)

Tks for sharing mate ;)

Nice review mate! It is a very nice pack for those who don't want to buy the sets they come in, but a army builder with a clone pilot would be a great seller.

Thanks for the pics, Vader.
These SW magnets are a definate must for me, a chance to get hold of the figs without loosing any more precious storage space.
On a seperate note, It's good to see that Lego have got round the Hasbro lisence thing and managed to release figs without vehicles - good work Lego laywers :D

Thanks for the pics mate, can't wait to get mine.

Shame you got yours already and mine have not even shipped yet!

Could you keep me up to date on how well your second bunch of figs from the other magnet set you ordered sold please?
