9440 - Venomari Shrine

It's the smallest set of Ninjago 2012 first wave. I really enjoyed the parts, accessories and figure.

Snake staff and new ninjago minifigs are awesome. Also new snakes are real goodies compared to old ones. Must buy set imo.

Thanks for the reviews 'Dharkan' :)
This set is actually very nice and I'm doubting to pick it up.
The only sad thing: it doesn't come with a snake warrior :(

Cheers once again mate :D

I like that neat little shrine with new interesting parts: those "brick" 2x1 bricks, that sweet snake staff, the new 1x1 round printed tile and those new snakes.

BTW is that wedge printed ? It is right

Oh i so agree on that, that little set is really neat but lacks an enemy for playability. Probably due to the printed wedge ;)

Yes but part selection is quite neat in my opinion. You get 6 brick bricks :D and 2 lime snakes.

Thanks for your pics of this.. it's one I hadn't considered until I saw the piece selection. A great way to get the brick pieces and the cool weapon / minifig parts and snakes.
Just a quick question but do you play these as intended (using the spinners etc with your friends) or do you collect the figs and accesories for other stuff, Dharkan?

Mostly for figs and accessories. But to be honest, that spinning game is more fun than I expected. If I can find it on sale, I can get for my brother, he'll like it for sure.
