Hi, A video have bin floating around youtube of a Lego Space shuttle (3367) in Space.
Well now danish media seem to have confirmed that the video is real.. If there where any doubt.

The space shuttle was send 35 km via helium ballons. The only thing attached to the set was the ballons. The set it self was in mid air by self, with no ekstra protection..

The projekt was done by Raul Oaida from Romania.. For me its really impressiv, both from Raul Oaida and the fact that set did so well.. All though its not said if the set was glued...

Here is the link for the youtube video and more information.

This is Lego at the final frontier...

Well done Raul, if you read this :)

That's really neat, I've always wondered how LEGO would fare in space  What's up with your spelling? Is that some kind of joke that flew right over my head?

Cheers TT, Thats an excellent video and the shuttle looks great in its rightful home in space.

It's been quite a good few weeks for space lego with this and building the ISS model on the ISS

Uujhiu please remember that English is not some members native language, therefore sometimes spelling, phrase's etc can be lost in translation. :)

I think that the members who visit here who speak a different language to ours are doing a great job...far better than i could do if i tried to speak or write theirs. :D

Amen to that!

In terms of video this a genuinely great find TT, one of those videos that make you stop for a few minutes and just watch in wonder at the tasks some people accomplish.

I wonder what would have happened if the shuttle had stayed up there and where it would float over millions of years.. really makes you think!
