LEGO 2009 Rumour List
While it may be mere days until The Clone Wars LEGO hits retail, Clone Intelligence has passed along a list of Star Wars and Indiana Jones LEGO that we may be able to expect to see next year. Remember that this mere rumour until official confirmation, and some, none or less may actually turn out to be accurate. Read on for the list...

Star Wars - Expected January

Clone Trooper Battle Pack
Droid Battle Pack
TIE Fighter
TIE Bomber
Separatist AAT
Attack Shuttle
A further six standard release sets are expected in August.

Indiana Jones - Expected January

Shang Hi Chase (from The Temple of Doom opening)
Fight on the Flying Wing (from Raiders of the Lost Ark)
A further six standard release sets are expected in August, spread over all four films.

Regarding SW:
* CW BP: I find that odd since I was expecting an Endor Rebel BP. But with the the CW on, I guess it has more momentum
* droid BP ? lets hide my excitment
* More Ties !! Yeay !! Finally a Bomber Thats really cool I have to say.
* AAT, I really expected that and I am so happy as I missed the first release.
* Attack Shuttle ? what is that ? A CW set ?

Regarding Indy:
* TOD set !! So white car, blonde hottie, suit Indy, Short Round and chinese mobsters: jackpot set
* Flying Wing: OK that is the height of my expectations: I was sure it was going to be released when we learned the Indy exclusive set that turned out to be Peril in Peru

I have to say that all these sets can be brilliant and I'm really excited about that list. Now lets hope we'll have the regular line up soon

Wow, this is brilliant news! Plenty of sets that I needed - the entire line up for SW is good.

Thoughts:

Clone BP: Yes!!! Thank you TLC!!! I don't care what it looks like, I want 2 of them. At least.

Droid BP: Hmm... another one? Maybe it will have a droideka or crab droid... Still get one.

TIEs: Hell yeah! I have no TIEs (but the crawler) so these will be really welcome. Especially the bomber.

AAT: If this is true, thank you TLC!!! I don't care if it is tan or blue, just give us it! If it is blue, I hope that it pushes the price of the old one down a lot.

Attack Shuttle: Sounds like it's from CW. I'm kinda looking forward to seeing this. For now, let the speculation begin!

Hey thanks for sharing Vader!

The Clone BP doesn't surprise me at all, seeing the obvious lack of clones in this years CW sets. I understand that TLC would give us another Droids BP to act as counterpart of the new Clone BP but seriously - I don't think it'll be a hot seller because there's a flood of droids already and they aren't the most exciting figs on the planet
Ties - well ok, long time since the release of Ties, but both models we already had so I wouldn't be too excited if TLC did them.
AAT - another set we already had but YEAY!! Love this set and couldn't get the first edition so this is one of my top-wanted sets and I'd be sure to get multiples of them if they were released and not too expensive.
Attack Shuttle - mhmm what's that? The name doesn't make any images form SW come to my mind, and we don't know what faction it's from. Hopefully it's not Imperial (sounds so tho) because I don't want another Imp shuttle of any sort atm.

All in all, sounds good I wonder what the prices would be because from the names alone all sets are way under 100$/€, so what's the big set going to be then?

I hope the 'Sep AAT has that sweet blue paint that it has on Star Wars.com. I also hope the battle packs are from the CW and that the droid one has something to make it worth it.

As much as I love Tie Fighters I'd rather have a Tie Defender and a Skipray Blastboat. But it'll be good to see what specialties they carry.

I hope the Attack Shuttle is a Skipray Blastboat; it isn't far from looking like a shuttle.

Hm... this doesn't excite me too much, I have to say. Two TIEs? the TIE Bomber is welcome, but standard TIE Fighter is unnecessary. Clone Battle Pack will be good if Ep. 2 Clones, and Droid Battle Pack will only be good if it includes a Droideka or Crab Droid, as mentioned before. The AAT is good though, and the Attack Shuttle sounds interesting enough.

EDIT: Just a thought... maybe the TIE is from TFU? IIRC one of the missions is in a TIE Fighter facility.

Okie some more thoughts

Since next year its going to be the 10th anniversary of TPM, I assume the AAT is from Ep 1. Dang I so wanted a Watoo, I think I'm going to cry now

Then can tie (no play on words here ) the droid BP to either the CW or Ep1, which is great. Seeing that they already did a lot of those droids, a BP can be sweet if they add a droideka !! So I was expecting more Ep1 sets. Maybe in May !!

Vehicles for the BPs will be crappy but who cares, parts pack ON !! I wonder how they will look.

I'm surprised of seeing 2 Ties !! A new Bomber is so welcome (the old one looks really blocky), but yeay a regular Fighter is unnecessary. And it can mean one thing, a new X-Wing in may What figs can they include with Ties apart a Tie pilot which I don't need more off ? Ah yes I have a great idea: add a DS trooper to it

EDIT: hey TK you might be correct !! I forgot about FU, and the game comes out only a couple of months before january so I'm sure in the list at least set will be from FU: either the shuttle or Tie (meaning we can get a new FU trooper in there)

Oh yea finally CW battle pack. That would be neat. I mean AWESOME! Also the droid battle pack sounds pretty nifty and so does the attack shuttle :O. Well we will just have to wait and see:)

I have to agree with TK - not at all exciteed by another set of TIEs, I have plenty of the original. However, a good nonblocky, remake of the TIE Bomber would be OK. Now the AAT sounds great as I have one of the original AATs but never did get around to picking up additional copies.

The Attack Shuttle could be interesting and as always BPs are ALWAYS welcome.

To be honest either version of the AAT would be fine by me, i just hope lego sorts out the tipping over aspect on the second version

If we we're to get that attack shuttle then i would be one happy Sith , throw in some clones a new jedi and you could have a major seller.

A new AAT would be fantastic, especially in full CIS livery. I absolutely love the original and LEGO has already shown that they can take a seemingly perfect set and redesign it into something even better. Perhaps they'll scale it up a bit so it's more in-scale with the Minifigs (and the Fighter Tank)

The TIEs...god I hope they don't make them without blue parts. I sure as hell don't want to convert my existing TIEs to match them

The Indy stuff, I dunno. I thought I read somewhere that LEGO wouldn't produce Temple of Doom sets because the movie is too dark. Temple of Doom being in the video game notwithstanding. That's the only thing that leads me to believe the list might be off...but my previous info could be just as off, so who knows for sure.

Thanks for the pics Yoda, if this is the Attack Ship a set of it would certainly rock! And it appears to be pretty big too, so it could be the large set of the january wave. Looks a bit like the ILC and like Vader said - add some Clones and a special fig like a Jedi and this set would storm the topseller list in no time
For the AAT I'd also like a tan version better because it'll join in better with the rest of the Trade-Federation vehicles. But I wouldn't mind a CW version too

That's the only thing that leads me to believe the list might be off...but my previous info could be just as off, so who knows for sure.

Yes i to have heard the rumours of TLC being against TOD sets because it's too dark,it would be a real shame if this was true and i would be alittle surprised as it's in the game.

Still i guess the removal of human hearts and monkey brain dinners is alittle much for TLC

The Indy Flying Wing would be more than welcome in my house that's for sure, i have long wanted such a set and of course a sweet german fighter would be excellent.
