Indy 2009

Postby xwingyoda » Mon Sep 01, 2008 10:04 pm

Well beeing a big fan of Indy I say we need to have a thread dedicated to that hehe !!

So Jedi News posted another rumoured list for Indy so here it is:

Jedi News wrote:Graveyard (from KOTCS)
Venice Chase (from TLC)
Air Battle (from TLC)
The Temple of Doom (from TOD)

Now comment On :P

Graveyard: yeay, the HP graveyard was superb and I so want to see a more nature and dark graveyard: that uis so promissing !!

Venice chase: seriously is a dream coming true for me: I'm a huge fans of Rivas and having 2 in Lego is just wow

Air Battle: Indy esapes the zeppelin with a 2 wing plane and is chased: that can be freaking awsome !!

Temple of TOD: thats so cool: mine carts on !!

G all these rumours are more exciting than the SW ones IMO and I really hope they are true !! And it appears one more set is to be released: TLC tank please :D

As i wrote elsewhere the graveyard set dosen't sound too good to me, i doubt it will be very big and would come with yet another Indy and Mutt fig (The way it's going ill have a bloody indy army, bigger than the clone one) and a native and skellie.

Venice chase set could be fun and will give us a new indy design i hope, i loved those old boats so they will be very welcome.

Air battle sounds good, like yoda wrote a plane or two with more nazi's.

TOD set will be interesting to see, i wonder if it will be just mine carts or if lego will give us something more.

You know it's only a matter of time until you buy some of the sets, go on give in to the darkside mate :D

I'm still waiting for Argos to sell the older ones off for a reduced price, when that happens you have to go for it.

Every time i see indy sets in the shop i pick them up and look at them so it only a matter of time (maybe money too). However if i see them on sale the darkside will undoubtedly take hold and i will then start down the dark path of the Indy line :D !

*waves hand in front of Mutley's face* Buying Indy sets, you WILL :D Its like SW, its the first set the most important action, then multiple sets is just routine :D

Wow, if that line up is correct, we could have new Indy mfs (even if I doubt it  ) but we'll have a huge German army with loads of terrestrial and aerial vehicles  Next in line: tank and U-Boat :geek:

OH I don't agree with you Vad, that cemetary has a huge potential !! Sure another Indy and Mutt (yeay screams with excitment :D ) but we could have that skellie dude, another crystal skull, a conquisatdor dead dude, and a creepy looking cemetary !! Lets hope for the very best :D

Well yes any sets with more troops in and cool vehicles are always welcome, the planes will be great for the line. Oh how i hope lego gives us a tank at some point, that could be a superb army builder vehicle.

Regarding the graveyard i really still believe it will be a small set, around the same size as the motorcycle chase one. So if that's true i'm not hoping for much to be included, 3 figs plus graves and weapons.

You think the graveyard will be a small 13€ set ? Ouch in that case you're probably correct: 2 useless figs + a hopefully useful one + cool accessories + small graves. That still can be a pretty cool set I have to say hehe

Lerts hope for the best :P

At least one thing is for sure, its great to have more Indy sets !! But there are still no signs of the Dark Knight

I seriously hope there is a disturbance in the Force like last year :P We all thought it was out and boom, 2 new sets, so there is hope :P

I do hope that the grave set is bigger but lego does seem to like giving us fans a small set in lines, as we have seen with indy both release so far have had these.

I suppose anyone with the HP graveyard would welcome the indy one, just think of adding parts of those together.

Oh this sounds like a nice collection! I really need to see some more vehicle sets from the original films! Plus the Venice set would help me alot as visiting the city in the summer i have started a project to build my own ; )

However if we don't see a Marcus Brody fig i might have to cry

I'm planning on posting Lego venice pics soon anyway 8-)

It is a beautiful city that's for sure make sure you go up into one of the over looking city towers, those are really cool to view the whole city and get pics like these from:

Image

I took that pic myself and many, many more :D .

Like you i want a Marcus Brody fig too and the line won't be finished until we get one of him, though i do think that we won't get him in this set. I think it will be Indy, Willie and a villan.

Ah Vader i have already been! Sorry i didn't go into one of your towers but i ended up taking about 1000 pictures of completely uninteresting things just so i could make my venice very life like ; ) I did get a look from the water on a gondola however! :D

And Willie? I can't believe I of all people am correcting the dark Lord but i think it should be Elsa! hehe! Please don't force choke me now mate
